Rates and Payments
All rates are priced on a per-room basis. Full payment is required upon check-in, whether guests pay with credit cards or cash. Payment will be charged in full when booking online, at time of booking. If reservation is made by phone, payment will be charged in full 3-5 days before arrival. We accept Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Sorry - no personal checks. Twin Gables reserves the right to change rates without written notice but will honor rates provided at the time of booking.
Check-in is 2pm to 10pm Sunday-Thursday, 2pm to 11pm on Friday & Saturday. Travelers arriving earlier than 2 p.m. can leave their luggage at Twin Gables before checking in later in the day. Late check-ins can be arranged in advance upon request for guests arriving after 10, Sunday - Thursday and after 11 Fri and Sat.
Twin Gables charge a $15 service fee for all cancellations. Guests canceling their reservations within one week prior to arrival date will also be charged a one-night room rate if we are unable to re-rent the room. All applicable cancellation fees will be charged to credit cards provided at the time of the booking.
Holidays: Three-Night Minimum Stays
Memorial Day, 4th of July*, Labor Day and Columbus Day.
* If the 4th of July holiday does not fall on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday only a two-night minimum stay is required.
Holidays: Two-Night Minimum Stays
New Year's; Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Weekends: Two-Night Minimum Stays
From May through November, which is peak season in Woodstock, we require two-night weekend minimum stays at Twin Gables.
Coffee and Tea Service, Continental Breakfast
A coffee and tea station, located at the far left corner of the Parlor, is available to guests 24/7. As a further courtesy, we serve a complimentary continental breakfast in the parlor from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., featuring muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea.
We allow well-behaved children 12 and older. Kids under 16 are required to share a room with an adult. Our guests stay at Twin Gables primarily for the collegial yet tranquil environment it provides. Although visitors mingle and chat frequently in the parlor - that's an essential element of the Twin Gables experience - we strive to ensure that their stay is restful and restorative.
Items Left Behind
Twin Gables will return items that guests request returned by mail. The cost of shipping and $10 handling and packaging fee will be billed to your credit card.
Limited parking is available on a first come first serve basis at the rear of the house; off street parking is regularly available; municipal parking lots are a short walk nearby.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets of any kind.
Lost Key Fee
Guests who lose or do not return Twin Gables' room keys will be charged a $25 replacement fee to the credit card on file.
Smoking is not allowed inside Twin Gables. Guests can smoke outside in the front garden and back yard, where they will find cigarette receptacles.
Notice to Guests
This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Guests are responsible for any damage done to property.
